Startup Factory
The Startup Factory is a business makerspace that over time will become a flagship permanent location in Melbourne to support commercialisation and investment into advanced manufacturing innovation and applied technology startups.

Space Tank is leveraging a decade of experience in supporting physical-product startups to create a new flagship business makerspace in Melbourne. A place for like-minded people to come together and ideate solutions, develop prototypes and commercialise physical products and technologies.
A new kind of incubator
Startup Factory distinguishes itself from traditional incubators through a Venture Studio model that co-creates businesses from the ground up. We coordinate curated teams of design and technology experts, business professionals and investors. We bring together a diverse set of resources from stakeholders, partners, entrepreneur communities, advanced manufacturing facilities, mentoring, training and funding. Via this approach, we create wicked companies.
We want you to join us in creating a more level playing field where hardware startups who are developing physical products, are valued, supported and succeed in our startup ecosystem.
Startup Factory Innovation Report
The right approach to innovation will unlock billion-dollar economic opportunities. But Australia squanders manufacturing innovation at the grassroots of our startup ecosystem. We have a plan to do something about that.
